Shop Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 8 October 2026
These terms cover purchases of goods from Speedsoft Direct LTD through this website. Please read the product information and these terms before ordering and keep a copy. Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.
1. About us
Speedsoft Direct LTD is registered in England and Wales, company number 16544642. Our correspondence and returns address is 1 Infirmary Road, Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, WF13 2JG, United Kingdom. Contact info@speedsoftdirect.co.uk about orders, cancellations or complaints.
Our collection location is separate: Speed Arena, Essex Mill, Essex Street, Bradford, BD4 7PG, West Yorkshire. Collection is available on Saturdays and Sundays, 11am–5pm, after we confirm your order is ready.
2. Products and placing an order
Check the description, compatibility, selected options, quantity, address and total before submitting your order. Contact us if you need help choosing compatible parts. Product images are illustrative; we remain responsible for supplying goods that match their description and any agreed specification.
Your order is an offer to buy. The automated order acknowledgement confirms receipt, not acceptance. We accept an order when we send a dispatch confirmation or a ready-to-collect confirmation, unless we expressly accept it earlier. Taking payment alone does not change this. If we cannot accept or fulfil your order, we will explain and refund the affected payment promptly. We will not substitute goods or charge a higher price without your agreement.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling unless checkout expressly shows another currency. Applicable taxes and delivery charges are included in the total displayed before you pay. Payment methods available for your order appear at checkout. Preorders are paid at checkout unless the product offer expressly states another arrangement.
If a material pricing or description error is discovered, we will contact you with the correct information and let you choose whether to proceed or receive a refund. Discount codes are subject to their stated eligibility, expiry and combination rules; the final discount appears before payment.
4. Delivery and collection
Available delivery services and charges are shown at checkout. The usual UK delivery aim is 3–5 business days for available goods, depending on the selected service; any specific product lead time takes priority. Estimates are not guarantees unless we expressly agree a guaranteed date with you. We will tell you about significant delays. Where no different delivery period is agreed, delivery must be without undue delay and within 30 days.
If delivery fails or misses an agreed deadline, contact us. Your legal rights to set an appropriate additional period, or end the affected contract where permitted, remain intact. Goods sent using our delivery arrangements remain at our risk until you or your nominated recipient receives them.
For Click & Collect, wait for the separate ready-to-collect confirmation before travelling and bring your order reference. The initial order acknowledgement does not mean goods are ready. Buying online and collecting in person does not remove applicable distance-selling cancellation rights. See collection details.
5. Preorders
Preorder items are not ready for immediate dispatch or collection. The lead time displayed on the product is an estimate from ordering unless stated otherwise. SD0362, Monk Oracle GEN X – RAW, currently has a two-week lead time. We will contact you if that estimate changes materially and discuss cancellation or a revised date. We will not postpone delivery indefinitely without your agreement.
A standard item ordered in for you is not automatically custom-made. Normal cancellation and faulty-goods rights continue to apply. Preorder availability does not represent physical stock held at the collection location.
6. Cancelling an online goods order
For qualifying consumer purchases, you can cancel by a clear statement, including email or post, from ordering until 14 days after the day you or your nominated recipient receives the goods. For goods delivered separately under one order, the period normally runs from receipt of the last item. Send returned goods within 14 days after notifying us. You do not need our prior approval to exercise this right.
You may inspect goods as you reasonably could in a shop. We may make a lawful deduction for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. For change-of-mind returns, you pay the direct return postage where disclosed before purchase. Contact us about goods requiring special transport; any required non-postal return-cost information must be given before ordering.
We refund cancelled goods and, when the whole order is cancelled, the least expensive standard outbound delivery charge we offered. Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee. We refund without undue delay and normally within 14 days of receiving the goods back or evidence of return, whichever is earlier. Different statutory timing applies where we collect goods or none were supplied.
7. Personalised goods and services
Goods genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised may be exempt from change-of-mind cancellation. Choosing a standard stock colour or size is not enough on its own. The exception does not affect rights for faulty, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods.
Separately agreed SD Customs work and services also have their own SD Customs terms. Those terms do not turn ordinary shop goods into personalised goods or restrict mandatory rights. Early performance of services during a cancellation period requires the legally necessary express request and information; agreeing these shop terms is not such a request.
8. Faults, returns and safe handling
Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for an agreed purpose and as described. Consumers normally have a 30-day short-term right to reject non-conforming goods, subject to the applicable rules. Repair or replacement, and where appropriate a price reduction or final rejection, may remain available afterwards. We cover reasonable return costs for goods that breach your statutory rights.
Follow product instructions and use suitable protective equipment. Contact us before shipping airsoft replicas, pressurised products, gas or damaged batteries so we can arrange safe carriage. Misuse or an incompatible modification may cause damage, but fitting or opening a product does not automatically remove rights relating to an inherent fault. See our Refunds & Returns Policy, including the optional cancellation form.
9. Restricted products and overseas orders
Some products require age, identity or other eligibility checks before supply. We will explain any applicable checks and cannot supply restricted goods where legal requirements are not met. An account or payment is not proof of eligibility. Follow applicable laws on possession, transport and use.
For overseas deliveries, check local import restrictions before ordering. Any applicable import charges and customs requirements will depend on the destination. Mandatory rights that apply to your purchase remain unaffected.
10. Problems, responsibility and governing law
Email us with your order reference and the outcome you seek. We will investigate and explain our response. Where required, we will provide information about an appropriate alternative dispute resolution provider and whether we will participate.
We remain responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything the law does not allow us to exclude.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in their home courts that apply to them. Changes to these terms apply to future orders; they do not retrospectively alter an accepted order.
